Ever wonder what my very first attempt at Drew Struzan style is like? This is it. Very plain and simple.

I am inspired to do this piece at the time of watching the HBO show "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge" starring Halle Berry.

As always I'm in awe of your use of color. The flash on the right is pretty intense, but at the same time I can't think of a solution, so I guess it has to stay

Oops, I have not yet thank you all for a long time already. My biggest apology. So here it is: my one on one expressions of thanks :

Wysiwg: Actually there was another background behind here, but it was far worse that the current one, so i cover that up with gesso and start again. I couldn't think of a proper background, so here, a simple flash of light instead. Its my pathetic first pathetic attempt anyway LOL
